Effective: January 26, 2018
Thank you for using Footprintku Inc. (“Footprintku”). Your privacy is important to us. This Policy describes how Footprintku collects, uses and handles your information when you use Footprintku’s websites, software and features ("Services"). Footprintku reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. Please check this website from time to time to review any such changes. When we make material changes to the Agreements, we’ll provide you with prominent notice as appropriate under the circumstances, e.g., by displaying a prominent notice within the Service or by sending you an email. In some cases, we will notify you in advance, and your continued use of the Service after the changes have been made will constitute your acceptance of the changes. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information we collect by other means, including offline, or from other sources. By using the Website, you consent to the collection and use of your information as set forth in the Policy currently in effect.
What & Why
Footprintku collects and uses the following information to continually improve our Services:
Account. We may collect personally identifiable information about you such as your full name, email address, phone number, payment information, physical address, and account activity. We will not send you promotional emails; however, we may send you service related emails related to your account. If you no longer wish to receive these emails, you may opt out of them by canceling your account.
Sharing Features. Our Services are designed to make it simple for you to create, manage, and store data such as design files, and to collaborate with others across multiple devices. To make that possible, Footprintku stores, processes, and transmits your files, messages, comments, and photos, as well as information related to it.
Usage. Footprintku collects information related to how you use our Services, including actions you take in your account (like sharing, editing, viewing, and moving files or folders). Footprintku also collects information from and about the devices you use to access our Services. This includes things like IP addresses, the type of browser and device you use, the web page you visited before coming to our sites, and identifiers associated with your devices. Your devices (depending on their settings) may also transmit location information to our Services.
Cookie and Tracking Technologies Policy Statement. Cookies are pieces of information generated by a Web server and stored in your computer, ready for future access. Footprintku uses cookies to improve our Services and provide customers with the opportunity for continued savings and increased convenience. Footprintku uses cookies to inform us of a repeat visit. The cookie does not tell us who you are, your name, e-mail address, or password. Users can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level. If you reject cookies, you may still use our Services, but your ability to use some features of our Services may be limited. We also use tracking technologies such as Google Analytics, which may be used to track information about your behavior on our website depending on your region. Google provides tools to manage the collection and use of certain information by Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout and by Google Analytics for Display Advertising or the Google Display Network by using Google’s Ads Settings at google.com/settings/ads.
You hereby consent to the use of the cookies and other technologies described above.
External Links. Our Services may contain links to third-party sites. Since we do not control those websites, we encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third-party sites.
Who We Share the Information With
Footprintku may share your information as discussed below, but we will not sell information to advertisers or other third parties.
Vendors working for Footprintku. Footprintku uses trusted third parties (for example, providers of customer support and IT services) to help provide, improve, protect, and promote our Services. These third parties will access your information only for the purposes contracted.
Other users. Our Services display information like your name, profile picture, and email address to other users in places like your user profile and sharing notifications. When you register your Footprintku account with an email address that is on a domain owned by your employer or organization, Footprintku may help collaborators find you and your team by making some of your basic information—like your name, team name, profile picture, and email address—visible to other users on the same domain. This helps Footprintku show you the teams you can join, and helps other users share files and folders with you. Certain features may let you have the option to make additional information available to others.
Other applications. You can give third parties access to your information and account - for example, via Footprintku APIs.
Law & Order. Footprintku may disclose your information to third parties if Footprintku determines that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with the law; (b) protect any person from death or serious bodily injury; (c) prevent fraud or abuse of Footprintku or our users; or (d) protect Footprintku's property rights.
How
Security. Footprintku has established safeguards to help prevent unauthorized access to or misuse of your personal Information, but cannot guarantee that your personal Information will never be disclosed in a manner inconsistent with this Policy.
If you register for a Web account, you will be asked to select a password to help protect your information. These passwords help Footprintku verify your identity before granting access or making corrections to any of your personal information. You should never disclose your password to anyone. Footprintku will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited phone call or email. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords and any account information.
When you provide credit card information, the information is transmitted using secure socket layer (SSL) technology to help prevent unauthorized access to or misuse of that information.
Retention. Footprintku will retain information you store on our Features for as long as we need the information to provide our Features to you. If you delete your account, we will delete this information. Please note: (1) there might be some latency in deleting this information from Footprintku’s servers and back-up storage; and (2) Footprintku may retain this information if necessary to comply with Footprintku’s legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements. You can access your personal information by logging into your Footprintku account.
Where
Around the world. To provide you with our Features, we may store, process and transmit information in the United States and locations around the world - including those outside your country. Information may also be stored locally on the devices you use to access the Features.
